School Teams
The school football teams play in the Barrow Schools Football Association competitions (BSFA), with the boy's currently playing in the Premier League after winning League 1 last year and the girls taking part in regular tournaments. Several players also play for clubs outside of school and for Barrow AFC performance centre. The school football club takes place after school, every Thursday, with children of all abilities welcome.
Premier League Primary Stars
Premier League Primary Stars uses the inspiration and fun of sport to connect pupils’ learning to the world around them. The initiative provides schools with resources across the curriculum, which lead to values connected with sport. Cambridge Primary recently received a new Nike football kit through the scheme and after entering a poetry competition on the theme of 'resilience', we also received a selection of poetry books.
